Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tá mé ag teagasc buncúrsa do dhaoine fásta anois agus tháinig rud aníos ar na mallaibh nach bhfuil mé go hiomlán cinnte faoi. Tá comhrá samplach ag deireadh an aonaid ina bhfuil duine amháin ag rá "Ar mhaith leat bainne agus siúcra ar an dá chupa?"

Ar chóir "sa dá chupa" a úsáid anseo? Sílim go bhfuil an dá rud ceart ach níl mé cinnte.

I learned recently that when you are talking about adding milk to a cup of tea, you use 'ar an' instead of 'sa'- it was in a list written by a native speaker about natural ways to speak Irish instead of literal translations. I'll try to dig up the source later.

I would say siúcra 'sa' tae though but that is my own thinking.

You could also say," Ar mhaith leat siúcra fríd" and leave out reference to the cup.

Bíonn bainne AR an tae ach an rud is dúchasaí ná siúcra TRÍD / FRÍD an tae
