recommend pre-sales car inspection in Monaghan

I'm interested in buying a used car privately in Monaghan. Can any body recommend a garage or mechanic in the area that will do a pre sales inspection.? I know the AA will do this, but they charge almost 400 euro, which is just too expensive. thanks
