Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just saw it on NBC news, General Motors is dropping Saturn. It was to be sold to Roger Penske Industries but they were only interested in selling them and couldnt find anyone to build them. I only saw 2 Saturns over here. The present models look like Opels/Daewoos....:)

Meh! Wont be missed. They were nothing but reheated GM leftovers, leftovers that weren't very appealing when freshly cooked at that, with less metal and more plastic. I had a Saturn Ion as a rental car once, my flight arrived late into the airport and they had nothing else. It was a really hateful bucket of shit.

Had the misfortune of having a rental Saturn Coupe in the US in 1999 . Singularly the worst car I've ever driven. It was brand new with around 100 miles on it and it was falling apart. The panel gaps and interior finish was appalling. It was like a random collection of ill fitting parts from the GM parts bin

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Yeah good riddance. It's only a matter of time before the whole of Detroit will close down. Mark my words :)
