Rogue talent build help please!

Hi, I have a level 44 rogue and was wondering if someone could help with the talent build. Have solo'd it to this level and have read up on builds on different forums. However I don't really get all the lingo etc. I have a main hand mace (Ardent something or other) and a good dagger off-hand. Just started doing battlegrounds and keep getting slaughtered by other rogues only a level or 2 above. Can anyone help please? Don't know if you can check my character out in the armory but name is Tardinuus, Alliance Night Elf. Thanks!

youre denying yourself the use of a lot of your abilities by not keeping a dagger in your main hand arent you?

Have you used posions to buff your weapons? I wouldnt have known about them unless someone told me.

There ya go, your build isnt too important while leveling.

In regards to getting your ass kicked in BG's, its most likely because your opponents are twinked, meaning they have the best gear for their level range. These are the people who cant do good in end game pvp so linger in the lower levels praying on undergeared leveling alts :P

Actually for leveling you will prob be changing weapons quite a bit, so just go with the following build:

But i myself prefer mutilate for leveling, so when you hit 50 and have two daggers specc into this:

You dont get as much aoe, but i always found when using this build i had less downtime (eating) as i just stunlocked the mobs to death without getting hit

Hi, thanks. I have the dagger main hand at moment, it is buffed with poisons and has been since I was able to. Its Main hand because the build I'm using at mo means lvl 40 npc are pretty easy to kill with ambush. I have been using the mace as MH before that though. Thanks for the replies!

IF you are going to use a dagger at all.. then use it in the main hand taht way you can use ambush,gauge,backstab.

If gonna have two mace's then you'll have a different combo of skills.

In BG's for a rogues its all about disabling the enemy and speed. But thats a completly differnt build than levelling and differnt skills used.

As por poisons... lvling poison is just instant dmg poison. whereas BG's you would use the crippling poisons or other posiin to disable enemy.
