I popped one of these up for September, so I figure I'll pop one up with a list of bands who have albums out this month, and then people can add any releases they think may be of interest to the thread.

September was a very strong month for rock and metal releases and October looks like it might be pretty good too.

There will be releases in October by

    Rammstein

    Kiss
    Hatebreed
    Steve Vai
    Lost Prophets
Dead By Sunrise (Chester Bennington side project)
    WASP
    Slayer
    Wolfmother
    Biffy Clyro

Slayer don't have an album out this month.

    They do.

UK release date is the Monday 2nd November, Irish release date is listed by HMV as Friday 30th October. The US release date is Tuesday November 3rd.

Irish release dates are always on the Friday before the UK Monday release dates, and are often the week before the US release dates too.

So whatever release date you see for an album, you can normally take take three days off of that date to get the Irish release date. Must advertising in this country only gives the UK release dates.

actually, that album with god hates us all/disciple/new faith/bloodline etc was actually savage! other than that, no time for them.

I get the feeling BTBAM's output will go from average to fantastic to back to mediocre with this album.

I've liked a few songs. Wouldn't call myself a fan. Have no interest in the new album after hearing "Christ Illusion".
