Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

roof slates

    any one out there ever use lagan group slates for their roof.was getting quotes off capco/tegral but lagan came in at 0.95cent a slate.thats the cheapest but I would like to know what the quality is like/or has any one used them and whats their opinion before I buy?

    Without disparaging the above named company/ product - (I don't have any experience of them);
    Nothing looks as bad on a house as slates that were blue/black when you put them on, and within a few very short years lose their colour and turn grey....
    This won't happen with the more expensive 'premium' branded slates.

    Haven't used them but just got new roof slates from blue bangor. They were Spanish and at the last moment I paid the extra for grade A. Bottom line was that only four slates broke in replacing a large roof!
