I have a Toshiba laptop that had some problems so i re-installed Vista using a Dell disk as i did not have the recovery dvds.

However i have since run into activation issues and cannot activate the copy. I also found the "Windows Anytime Upgarde" dvd.

So im thinking i can use this to re-install Vista.

However after reading the FAQ's it says that your copy of Vista must be fully activated before you can use the "Windows Anytime Upgrade" dvd.

Does anyone know if this dvd would still work if i completely delete the partitions from the hard drive (and remove the vista installation)
