Wow excellent photos, did you take them yourself? Poor mammy squirel, hope she wasn't hurt! The look on that dogs face in the last photo is priceless, and mammy squirel looks like she dragging her little baby away from the dog lecturing her on hanging out with the wrong sort of bad influences!!:D

Ah the poor puppy looks like the mammy squirrel got him in the eye. Brave mammy squirrel too, going all kung fu to get her baby. That baby is going to get some talking to!

nice pics but from a nature point of view though its a damn pity that the dog didnt eat up the both of them. those damn grey squirells are a pest that are pushing our native red squirell to distinction.

i know its not with the lovey theme to the thread but its no harm to highlight what is going on in the country.

Pity that the mother squirrel didn't kill the dog as well, right? I mean dogs are a major pest and have destroyed ecosystems all over the planet and not just in Ireland.

Jesus, just because the squirrels are a pest animal doesn't mean that you should wish a gruesome death on them. Humane population control of pest animals is one thing but I can't get behind your ideal.

Organizing a cull with humane methods is different to getting two squirrels ripped apart.

Back to the photos, they're classic
The last one has the poor dog looking like "sure, we were just playing". That little squirell is going to get a lecture for playing with strangers :D

And whilst it's cute, I think we're done.
