Shore fishing sligo?

I'm up in Sligo this weekend and would like to do some shore fishing sat/sun morning, have looked it up and is Rosses point the best place to go? any info greatly appreciated as I dont know the fishing area

Try around Easky - it's only a short drive from Sligo and the fishing is fantastic. Start out at the pier by the river mouth and work your way along to the right - lots of fish around there.
