Ok we got our pup when she was 4 months and at 6 months she went into heat and was bleeding for over a month, we brought her to the vet and he said she was fine and that she is just a dog that will have very long heats, but she also had an infection so he said to wait untill she was well out of heat again to get her spayed. It hasn't even been 4 months and it looks like shes in heat again. Does anyone know if this is normal?

A 4 month heat cycle isn't too weird, it is reasonably short but not totally unheard of. If you are worried about it in any way ask your vet about it. Is she a small dog (small dogs tend to mature earleir than big dogs, she went into her first heat at 6 months so she could just have a short heat cycle)?

Had the same problem a while ago and posted about it- thread is here

It's not unusual but worth keeping an eye out. It should regulate after the second or third heat cycle.
