I'm looking for a cassette deck. Stop laughing, I really am.

I see from the website there is a Teac W600r twin deck ... but it has no headphone socket; I'd really like one with a headphone socket, doesn't even have to be a twin deck.

On the off-chance there's a high end cassette deck lurking somewhere that gets discovered during the stock-take ... I'm interested. :)

    Trout,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you - unfortunately Cassette decks are pretty thin on the ground now and that Teac is the only one we stock - could you monitor via your headphone output on your Amp??

ATB and again apologies for the delay in getting back to you,

    ATB,

Yeah ... I'm not running this with an amp ... it's to handle about 400 old computer cassettes, which I'm looking to clean up and digitise.

I was hoping to use the headphone socket to monitor the tapes in the event of any failures ... given the age & condition of the tapes, failures are likely.

I'll have another look around online, and see what I can find.
If needs be, I can set-up with an amp, but space is somewhat limited and my stereo kit is in a different part of the house.

Thanks for the response though ... I think this type of customer interaction is great. :)
