    Hi all,

    Does anyone have any experience of life/work/travel in Dubai?

    Are temporary contracts in administration / marketing an option? I know there is a wide expat community in Dubai, just really looking for experiences and views on Dubai. I have an option to spend a couple of months there and would ideally like to work so trying to any advice/experiences would be most welcome.

    OP a friend of a friend in working their in construction as an architecht.

    He really enjoys it, good weather, top of the range apartment etc. Good craic with the ex-pats (fewer of them now) but he does miss home as he's only home every 6 weeks or so for a long weekend.
