Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Gerrard is poor today.

He's been poor most of this season IMO.

Good chance there but an awful delivery by Johnson.

1-0 down and you bring on the player who's probably best at set pieces in the squad.

All well and good but if you've got only one striker to get on the end of things.....

Liverpool's two best players aren't at it today. This is a big test for Liverpool to see if anyone else can step up and make the difference. For FF purposes I'm hoping it will be Kuyt or Johnson...

Liverpool are a different team with Benny in the team, no idea why he didn't start but it was a mistake not to start him.

He has been the only bright thing today from Liverpool.

Deserved win for Chelsea, Liverpool just not good enough. Title challenge isn't 'over' but they're going to have to recapture last year's intensity against the big teams. Gerrard in particular needs to step up.

Not overly disappointed by the performance as I thought that we more than equalled the home team. Fair played to Chelsea though, played a very tight game, scored a good goal and then punished Liverpool when they were pushing for an equaliser.

I'm not a huge fan of gerrard but the defensive side of our game is in the mire right now.

Cannot argue with the result. Sickened to have lost to Chelsea but they deserved their win.

    Carragher sh1te yet again.....
    Gerrard very poor........
    Benayoun should of started......
    Drogba is a girl...

Very dissapointed, Liverpool need to cop on after the international break!

Liverpool down to 5th could be 6th by tomorrow night. Not good enough having 3 defeats this stage of the season imo. Maybe next year?

thought that was only applicable at OT tbh.

Chelsea deserved it in my opinion.

Lots of liverpool players not at the races.

    Very dissapointing.

Carragher is a very poor footballer who is getting slower by the week.
Gerrard and torres need some of the others to step up, they cannot maintain a league challenge on their own. Kuyt was anonymous.

when was the last time a team won the league with 3 loses so early on in the season

I couldnt hear it on sky sports(bloody phone call)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,385 ✭✭✭✭D'Agger

I'd be trying Agger & Skrtel for a few games together - Drogba went past Carra like he was a shaggin schoolboy for the 2nd. I don't know what was wrong with Torres - he needs somebody to help him up there and that isn't possible when Gerrard is pulled back because when Lucas and Masch are added together they make one decent midfielder.
