Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Car Insurance - Anyone have Fire Brigade cover/lost keys?

Just renewed my policy with AA and they don't offer Fire Brigade cover or money towards lost keys/ lock replacement. FBD have €2000 cover towards the Fire Brigade and €750 towards the locks (FBD were also €110 dearer). Do most people have these on their policies ?

    Cheers

I have both on my policy. Slightly OT, but I just spoke to a friend who's with AXA - they've just told him that his policy covers him comprehensively to drive any other car - apparently they're the only ins co to offer this.

Yeah I actually read through the parent's AXA cert recently and it does cover "Damages to cars you borrow".. or something along those lines.

They aren't the only company to do it though. I know someone insured with Cornmarket (special deal for teachers) who are undersigned by Royal Sun Alliance and they also include comprehensive open drive.
