    We have to have our first draft in by Halloween and I'm thinking of doing the effects of fascism on football. I've chosen this beacuse it interests me and I don't think it would be very common.

    I know I have to be a bit more specific so I've gone with how Mussolini founded the Italian league (Serie A)

    Would this be a suitable topic? Our teacher hasn't given us any guidelines just told us to have an essay typed up for Halloween.

    Also is this a suitable source of information and can anybody tell me anymore?

    well, i know nothing about football, but i do know that you must be very specific so Mussolini and the League thing sounds much better than Fascism's effects on football, i think this is a good website for what you need,http://www.scoilnet.ie/hist/

    Im doing the hillsborough disaster. I got a copy of the taylor report , a report that was made after the disaster to find out what happened , who caused it and what developments should be made for the future of stadium building in the UK. Now thats probably the perfect example of a primary source that you can get. So my advice is unless you can get a good primary source on mussolini and football id move on . Oh and also make sure you highlight the significance ur topic had on the world/country. Examiners look for topics that has changed/had a significance on sumtin nowadays. They also really like originality obviously like i mean id hate to think the amount of projects they've read on the second world war.. but yours is pretty original and im sure it'll make as an interesting read for whoever is marking it.. Good luck anyway

    Yes it is - and you will have to find the others yourself - I would suggest including one primary source if possible - a newspaper report or the text of a speech from Mussolini about football or something like that.
