internet services ireland - who are they?

    as in title, when I do speed tests this comes up as my service provider.
    It should be ESAT BT??

    It depends on the name associated with the IP. Depending on the IP assigned to you from BT's DHCP server, you could even get an address that has "Ireland Online" (or some variation) on it, and they haven't been IOL in many years. Some IP's do say "Esat...".
