Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wow. That man is on the form of his life.

On a broader note, I sincerely hope he makes it to SA next year.

When I heard there was no Giggs and a start for Wellbeck with Rio on the bench, I had a feeling Fergie had underestimated the opposition:(

    I've a bad feeling.

There's nothing you can really back that up with though is there?

He can keep scoring goals though.

Sunderland look dangerous on the break. Reid and Malbranque are great outlets.

Should Foster have done better with that goal?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

    United are pants so far.

Bit of a recurring theme with him

Nothing Foster could of done. Was placed very well into the corner. That's just looking for someone to blame. Should blame O'Shea for giving Bent the room.

    Scholes...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Who said Reid can't tackle? Just whipped the ball away from Nani there.

Anybody else annoyed by Paul Scholes' absolute stupidity in picking up yellow cards this season?

What are the odds on Scholes getting a red? Pretty good I would think.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    ah scholesy...yet another yellow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,039 ✭✭✭Theresalwaysone

    Nani, once again, is terrible.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Scholes looking very off the pace so far.

    Nani is actually muck.

    Nani

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,326 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Always thought Scholes would find it tough today,

Sunderland's centre pairing are working well, Sunderland seem to be getting loads of room on the counter attack, United have to be carefull pressing on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,399 ✭✭✭✭Thanx 4 The Fish

So far Sunderland seem to be the better side, bent great finish, Scholes petulant kick out, Richardson stupid challenge.

Thought Jones should have passed that out to his right and run on for the ball back instead of shooting that time.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,511 ✭✭✭SK1979

Any chance Fergie can play his "wildcard" at half time? There's a lot more than 3 substituitions needed here, shocking performance so far...

I really cannot understand playing Wellbeck over Valencia. Wellbeck needs games to develop but Sunderland are a good side and not the sort of team that you blood a player like that in. Valencia hasn't exactly played too much football either since joining.

Fully expect United to score from a free kick or something.

£17m worth of muck at that

    Scholes really looking his age.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,039 ✭✭✭Theresalwaysone

Playing a lot more high balls into the strikers than usual which is pure stupidity given the way both our strikers play.

Both Rooney and Berbs getting frustrated too.

In fairness, tt isn't just something that has happened this season. It is something that has always been part of his game.

Utd to win 2-1. Bet on it.

Fletcher looks up for it, can see him doing something in the game. Evans is looking decent too.

Is O' Shea worried about his coming boards interview? He seems to be a little nervous today.
