Both Donegal consistencies have rejected the Lisbon treaty by small margins!

Does this mean it cannot be ratified as all 26 counties haven't said yes?

The will of the people changes constantly. Also we can clearly see that lot of Yes voters who stayed at home last time felt moved to ensure their voice was heard this time. If any side was guilty of lies and fearmongering over the 2 elections, it's the No side.

Interestingly, Donegal has also has the lowest turnout of all the declared results so far. North Tipp by contrast had a huge turnout (75%) and voted 70% in favour.

Donegal would be best to just declare itself an independent republic.

We should respect the Donegal NO! Lets give them some protocol that this wont affect their right to smuggle green diesel or something and have a them vote again in a few months.

Intereting theory. The no vote will get the same amount of votes but the yes side will get more because people actually had to show up and vote.

    I find it strange

considering Declan Ganley managed to insult alot of people in Killibegs last spring during the euros when he was there

my friend from there was furious of his the crap he tried to pedal to the fishermen

As i have stated many times on this board, Coir may well have been on the yes side - their rubbish posters helped win so many votes for them!

Some of you people (both sides broadly speaking) really need to eat less lemons. And more fish.

Less of the word-puking please. Locking this means at least four of you save on infractions. Next time the thread will be lucky instead.
