Its a pretty nifty 416, it has a locking bolt catch, blowback dust cover (dont expect recoil though, its only a cosmetic thing) and the fire select indicator on the right side of the rife moves with the selector, unlike most armalite resigns where its just a fake. Another nice fancy feature i really like is the forward assist release on the gun, if you get a gearbox lockup all you do is press in that big button on the right side of the gun and it releases the spring pressure by undoing the anti reversal latch and your up and running again.

The crane stock on there isnt actually used for the battery. It was the first thing i got rid of as i hate crane stocks. The flash hider is actually a scar type and will take QD silencers. The one thing it lacks is realistic trade marks but at the moment theres nobody other than Dboys doing decent ones. H&K/Umarex even put a stop to the VFC with trades.
The grip on it is another thing i changed for no other reason than not liking the look of it. I prefer the standard factory looking 416 with no bolty onnies so i ditched that in favour of a VFC type.
Out of the box it was firing a consistent 300fps and i loved the ROF from it. the blowback thing, although not being an actual recoil engine, it makes a nice clanky noise as it rocks back and forward, covering up the electric kinda sound of the typical AEG. The rear sight is adjustable and you get a nifty little tool that stows away in the included screwdriver for this.
The battery needed is a 2 piece nunchuck type and fits in the front rail. holding the rail in place is a single large cross head screw and it comes with the screwdriver to open this., At first it looks a little confusing when trying to get the battery in but once you understand how it works you can have it in and out in no time.
