    Right

    Have a value in cell A1 on sheet 1
    I want to formulae that will return a vlaue of Yes if this value in A1 is any where on sheet 2?

    How do I do this?

    =IF(0<>COUNTIF(Sheet2!A1:Z1000, A1), "Yes", "No")

    You'll have to tweak the range a bit depending on how big Sheet2 is.
