Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Someone bandied a similar idea a while back.
I'd really love to try out the Canon 24-70L for a few days, I'd be willing to let the kind person have a loan of any of these..
    24-105L IS
    100mm 2.8 Macro
    100-400L IS
    70-200 2.8 IS

I'd give it to you, but don't have it. Moving to primes :D:D:D

    I didn't include my primes. :p

    Although they're only the 50mm 1.4 and the 85mm 1.8

If you have a 50mm and 85mm, then the 35mm is the ideal lens to buy. Fantastic. Nearly every shot I've posted so far from Syria is taken with it. Love it.

My 24-70/2.8L USM is available for swap if you promise not to remove UV filter in situations when touching the front lens is possible.

70-200/2.8L ISM IL is on my shopping list, I would like to give it a go.

PM for details, if you are interested.

    PM sent. :p
Oh I never remove filters, lenses are far far too expensive to take a chance.

I'm very very impressed with mine, bought it from adverts.ie 2nd hand for €880 I think, was basically brand new!
The pull and push zoom is easy to use too, I think the IQ is great too.

I'd be very interested in swapping my Nikon D60's...
    • Sigma 70-300mm APO DG MACRO (will AF on D60)
    • or kit 18-55mm VR lens.
    in exchange for a
    • 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX NIKKOR
    for a couple of weeks.

    Anyone interested? :)
