I have plans ready for a house to be built but wanted to get a 3-D look at it first. Does anyone know where to get this done and what sort of price i'd be looking at?

We did ours by ourselves, bought some home planner software. It was quite easy to do just entering the dimensions from the plans.

Its a great thing to do as we made about 20 changes after seeing it in 3d.

If you want I can have a stab at it, pm me. It would depend on the size and complexity of the house as I may not have the timeto get it done.

depends on what level of detail you want...

if its just a 3d of the external views then thats simple enough, depending on the design... however, if you want internal views and walk-through's and you looking at much higher costs.

google sketchup is free and extremely easy to use if you want to attempt it yourself, and the design isnt complicated...

Hi, thanks for the replies. It was a basic outside view of the house I was looking for because although I have a sketch of the house is hard to visualise different colours that will be combined. I'm looking at using mainly stone and a dull red brick around the windows so I'd love to see what it looks like in 3-D to put to rest any worries!

    Ninja, I have sent a p.m.
