No real point in suggesting unless you know what's available to you. Your location is important, do you have cable TV or is it available, do yuo have a phone line and is it DSL enabled and capable?

If the phone has been cut off for ages ( dec 2008) but is installed then you may be entitled to the free line rental for 10 months deal from eircom :) email eircom and give them your address and ask.

    connection free
line rental free for 10 months
you only pay for dsl for the 10 months

but get the 10 month free offer in writing from eircom by email .
