Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If Villa can hold on here, they fully deserve their win. They've simply wanted this much, much more than City.

He's very mistake-prone, not strong in the air and was in no way key for arsenal bar maybe his first few seasons. He is overrated.

Ok we will agree to disagree.

Good open game, got to be more goals in this.

Lovely goal. Ireland instrumental in the build up. You'd fancy City to push on and win it now.

Stephen ireland has been class since he came on, no question.

What? We've been camped in the Villa half for the past ten minutes. They've been relying on good defending and trying to catch us on the break.

It's been coming since Ireland came on.

even your own supporters didnt see a goal coming

all possession but no real cutting edge in the final 3rd until the goal of course

nonsense man, take your blinkers off. City had 2 or 3 good chances before the goal, as many as Villa in fact.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Ireland's really stretched Villa since coming on. As they tire in the closing stages it wouldn't surprise me if City grab a winner.

Indeed. It's not like the goal was against the run of play or anything.

Ireland just blocked a Villa shot there that I could swear would have went in.

ive probably been one of the least critical boards Villans with regards Ivanhoe but I really am failing to see what he ads to the Villa side atm

    please prove me wrong Emile

Carew was bolloxed no point having him on if he's not working.

Richard Dunne has been unbelievable tonight.

SWP has had a stinker, apart the toe poke interception which led to the goal he has been pushed off the ball and every opportunity, terrible passing, and always seems to come inside when city need him to stay on the wing. If you're that little you better be good on the ball.

id agree i just have very little confidence in Heskey making the difference, when Gabby charges down the wing with the ball and looks to play the ball into the box only Heskey is there and i dont expect anything to come from it. Not at all suggesting that the decision was wrong just... Heskey :(
