Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    5 mins. COME ON VILLA!

id agree i just have very little confidence in Heskey making the difference, when Gabby charges down the wing with the ball and looks to play the ball into the box only Heskey is there and i dont expect anything to come from it. Not at all suggesting that the decision was wrong just... Heskey :(

    Agree completely.

    'A minimum' of 5 minutes ;)

That was a sweet move with Bellamy and Ireland. A goal at the end would have made it.

Fair enough result I think. Good play from two good footballing teams.

There are going to be twenty very tired men tommorrow morning. Good match, take a point.

We should be better after christmas when Downing is in the side. Dunne undisputed MOM?

Decent result against a good side, though disappointing that we didn't go for it more after the equaliser.

    Bridge and Bellamy were superb.

Dunne was immense tonight and Collins did well also

Bit disappointed with Man City after their goal. Why not continue to play with the same intensity and pace and try and grab a winner? Seemed to be contented once they got their equalizer. Two points dropped.

Fair result overall. Would have been harsh for either side to lose it. Dunne my MOTM definitely. Great to see him in this sort of form ahead of the Italy game.

Dunne a top class signing but poor result

Agreed, a very enjoyable match. Also happy with the result, still gutted about losing Dunne to Villa, you have got a great player there a monster of a man indeed.

really frustrated by villa, so decent enough. played alot in their half, but we need to sort that defence. every team is going to go for long balls and corners against us.

Dunne was immense, fantastic header too. Absolutely bossed the defense all game.

Agree with that. Villa really struggled when City upped the pace.

Dunne MOTM for Villa. Bellamy MOTM for City.

Should have scored a second goal though :( but he deserves 10 bonus points in FF imo

Carew was bolloxed no point having him on if he's not working.

shouldve been off for nrc and switcvhed to 4-5-1 about 5 minutes after ireland came on for city

hughes moaning again about the amount of injury time really says a lot about the ambition of city this year.

any other top 4 four manager would have been over the moon and got them going hell for leather to grab a winner.

    seemed to bottle it.

    unbelievable performance from Dunne.

i was impressed that, even though it was at Villa Park, he showed all the class in the world in how he celebrated.

City is still in his heart.

didn't stop him putting in a honey monstrous display.*

    *sorry

Great game, when Bellamy's in the mood he can pester defences.
Dunne MOTM, what's to say these two don't finish in the top 4?
Or will they make it a top 5 for UTD:eek:?

    / pegs it:pac:

    More 'unsurprising' than unbelievable.

He's done it plenty of times in the past, and if ever there was a game he was going to step up in it was this one.

Played very well, and we still love him.

Not at Chelseas or Arsenals expense though, to be honest can't see either of them making the top 4.

IMO yes it was a poor result for Villa if we want to push on we need to close these games out, we were 1 up and should have got a second, City for all their spending are weak at the back

Loving a player and knowing he isn't up to the required standard to be a member of the team are different things tbh

Id be more worried about Liverpool making the top 4.

Fair play to Dunne for not celebrating his goal

yip. i dont know if he would have regained his form if stayed though tbh, sometimes a new move gives a player a new lease of life. great to see him doing well.
