Hi, Im really bad when it comes to technology and am looking to replace the motherboard in a HP Pavilion Laptop, Im not sure where or what to buy however, any tips you can give me would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

Moved from sticky. And didn't you post this already on Laptops?

The advice I'd give is the same as over there: You can get them but they're a) expensive and b) difficult to fit if you're proficient at IT repair. If you're a novice don't even consider doing it yourself unless you want to make a frustrating and very expensive mess. Look for quotes from *reputable* PC and/or laptop repair outfits.
