I was inside while they were working on it (my friend knows some of the guys working on it). It's looking good, uses the vaults from the bank for the rooms, they had all the old statues and are working on new ones. It was hilarious seeing the old stuff again (the guy showing us around was a bit younger and didn't recognise Maureen Potter, Patrick Hillery and Stephen Roche).

Popped in this afternoon to have a quick look.

They're having the official launch this evening.

I quite like the new logo.

Hope they won't have that waxwork of Michelle 'Whiskey in the jar' De Bruin from the old wax museum?

According to this months Dubliner they do have her in all her waxy glory!

Apparently they also made a new tunnel! Was terrified of that thing as a child!

Am I young enough to have a go of the tunnel?

Never used to be an age restriction on them.

I used to take first dates to the old wax museum all the time. If a girl didn't want to crawl through a furry tunnel with you then you knew she wasn't the girl for you.

I hear they will be using her in the Chamber of Horrors now.

If you are worried they won't let you in, do that old kneel and put your runners under your knees trick.

    That made my day :D
Plans to bring her self there when it opens.

    Paid a visit on Saturday.

I was impressed. It's pretty neat how they've kept all the old bank vaults in tact and you walk from vault to vault to view various exhibits pertaining to different scenes from Irish history.

Chamber of horrors was a tad small and still under construction to some degree.

Oh... and yes.. there is a tunnel... Much fun!
