It'll get very bitchy if the men keep being booted out every week

Was she not right? Sorry...I don't get this Geraldine-hating. I don't see her winning but she's a grafter. A bit of a whinger maybe but definitely a week 5 or 6er. Certainly shouldn't be going before Breffny. Anyway...in this particularly task Setanta's choices were not rational and Bill could see that.

A MASSIVE whinger... I agree she's actually got some ability, sorry, a-billet-tee :D, but it was more the way she said "click" rather than "clique" that I was aiming at there.

Definitely should outlast the Breffmeister, but she'd want to do more than complain...

Agree re the complaining but if people want to complain about her having a chip on her shoulder then maybe they should look at all the accent/class 'jokes' (sic!) and maybe ask themselves where she got it from.
Anyway, time to run off now. BO'C and his big sexist rubbish totally turns me off.

    How do you pronounce "clique"?

Fair play Setanta, probly saving himself from the worst of BOC's wrath by holding up his hands as to how bad he was

Fair point, but which came first, the chicken or the egg?

The other girl Jennifer also has a strong woorkin'-class accent, but people on here aren't going on about her because she has a much better attitude than Geraldine.

Does Fiona Looney have straight hair or curly hair?

    Or both?

    Strange.

Really? Hmm. Must shake at my English-teacher mother for the purposes of making a further claim that her pronunciation-fascism has ruined me. :D
EDIT: In light of fricatus' post below I revert to my natural 'Mum is always right' position! ;-)

That's American. Remember they say "aloominum" (aluminium) and "nitch" (niche).

The OED only allows "kleek": http://www.askoxford.com/concise_oed/clique?view=uk

If the biggest criticism of Geraldine is her accent and how she speaks, she's doing alright. It didn't do Doctor Bill any harm.

I can't watch the show at the moment, but found out that Jennifer is a girl I used to work with. I hope she wins! :D

    I think it's her voice/accent combo that's annoying.

Dr Bill just has the accent not the annoying voice.

I think it is the whingey negative voice with that crazy pronouncing her t's as TT's that is very annoying....
