    just a quick question. can you take an extra module on. I would love to take on the Academic Literacy course but it was not on my list of modules.

    I'm not sure. Its a mostly useless module anyway. Nothing but patronising rubbish
    There are essay-writing workshops starting tommorow . May be more practical

    I'm not sure if its limited to Humanities students or not though
    Tuesdays, 14-15:00, in Weeks 5, 7, 8, and 9.

    Week 9
    (Week of Nov. 2rd)

    Session 4: Academic writing style. Editing and proofreading your essay.

    Why would you do that? Is there any advantage with regards to qualifications?

    5 modules for BBS + French is enough for me. :D

    haha well I do five for P&Int Rels but I'm expecting to go into Media after and economics would be helpful and look good on my CV. Plus I'm an Economics nerd and it was my favorite subject in 6th year.

    So much for doing it for the love of learning ;)
    I took on AutoCad for the laugh in 2nd year. Did it on a pass/fail basis rather than getting an actual grade, less pressure - just had to clear it with the lecturer and my course head.
