Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Figuring out how much tax I will get back?

Sorry I've looked at a few places to see if I can work this out myself but I just keep getting tied up in knots. I'm trying to sort out my budget for the next few months so would like to see how much tax I can claim back at the end of the year...

I worked January - September of 2009, and in that time paid approx. 1140 in tax.

I won't be working October, November or December, more than likely, and so am wondering how much tax I can claim back? My tax credits are 3660 for the year or 305 monthly

My thinking was that as I won't be using three months worth I should get back 3*305 = 915 but I'm sure that can't be right as (a) it's too simple and (b) it seems like a lot!

Also I won't be claiming any social welfare for Oct, Nov or Dec either as not entitled to it so thats not a complicating factor

    I'd really appreciate any help!
