Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Martin Palermo's career is fascinating. It's just complete and utter insanity with some really good football followed by some downright awful form.

Lol was expecting something completely different.

Many years ago under-age,the opposing keeper kicked the ball out of his hands and it went High rather than long I ran from midfield and met it with a big looping header which landed on the roof of the net as the keeper was scrambling to get back. had a thumping headache for the next 15mins of the match:(. It was back in the day of the waterlogged O'neils balls being used for soccer and GAA.

Love the way the crowd runs down towards the pitch in the stand behind the goal. Really adds to the whole thing.

i remember robbie fowler almost scoring a header from 30-35 yards in the fa cup a few years back against utd for man city, the goalir came out, tried cearing the ball, the ball bounced first then fowler headed it, just missed the goal.

Only the second most painful ball injury though. What about a Mitre multiplex on a decembers morning on a frosty pitch hitting the inside of your thigh. Now that smarts!
