    The Gatso van is going to be around Donegal (Letterkenny last weekend) for the next few weeks, so be careful and slow down. Particularly watch at the end of long straights and wide roads where its easy to go over the limit without noticing.

    The van is a white high roof Transit 08 D XXXXXX

    whats the gatso van? Like the vans they have in the north with the speed cameras on the roof?

    letterkenny up above a&e,yea a speed camera van shes a big high roof transit,i think it has double wheels and big wheel arches,seen it there last year to,a real good revenue collector:D

    as far as i know this van is not equipped with speed cameras, soley for the purpose of tax insurance and nct, i flew past it in newtown main street a few times, not a thing in the post, also in burnfoot and letterkenny! ive been told by asking around that thats all its for there is a fella in the back , you'll find its never in the same place for too long, don't be going racing past it though just in case!

    heres a tip, loosen your front number plate a bit so it vibrates when your driving... the number will be blurred in the photo :)

    This is the PROPER Gatso van that does have the camera in the back and with film in it. It will only be in the area for a few weeks then wont be back for 6 months or longer.

    Unmarked car parked up on the old Letterkenny to Kilmacrenan road just past Dunnes of Illistrin. They've been pulling from there for the last couple of days.

    Edit: It's the new road that they're watching.
