Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If parts are stripped down I would sometimed use a bucket of diesel and leave them sitting a few days. A small bit of heat wouldnot go astray.

I use Transyl which is available from many decent tool and DIY shops. WD40 is a second cousin of it but I'm not a fan.

Use Diesel or Kerosene, WD40 is not much use as a penetration oil IMO.

best tool for loosening nut/bolt is a few belts of an impact driver first followed by good quality socket, after you soak the area with penetrating oil or diesel for a week or two initially. Depending on location of offending nut or bolt some localized heat can help to unbind the thread, but be careful of warping parts or melting O-rings or being near flammable stuff. (Always have a fire extinguisher handy in the shed)
