Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Like Zascar, I'm thinking of changing my set up. I've 2 cdj400's and a djm 400. I love them but when I got them I was mad in to electrohouse and just kinda bought em on a whim without researching everything. I was thinking of selling them all and getting traktor. What is a good midi controller to get with traktor? I'm sick of burning cd's...... Also, how much would I be looking for for the 2 decks and the mixer? And how much is traktor and a good midi controller gonna set me back? I hear I can use the djm 400 as a midi but it's only 2 channels and from what i hear is a **** midi. Cheers guys.....

Hmm I thought you could use the CDJ's with Traktor etc? You could always jusy buy Traktor Scratch and use the timecoded CD's to have a good solution?

Not sure how much you could sell all that for but you'd deffo get a good digital setup for that money anyway.

Keep in mind that you will need an audio interface (soundcard) with at at least 2 inputs to use timecoded cds with your cdj's. I had the free timecode cd's with virtual dj and my cdj's all ready to go and then realised my soundcard didnt have any inputs....

just get the audio 2 DJ thingy from NAtive Intruments. Then just connect the two stereo outs from that into you djm. Means your just replacing your cdj's with the computer. Get a small cheap midi controller to control the effects in traktor.
