    Hi,

I am trying for a baby but look like kind of no luck yet. I feel very healthy and do gym as well. And now finally decided to do sperm count test.

Called Rotunda hospital but they give very late date...is it possible anybody know where i can do sperm count test?

Also if anybody knows good vitamins that can be really healthful...
    I only now a days taking Omega 3 tablets,Ginseng.

Two years ago when we did fertility treatment, any GP could give you a referal to the Rotunda and a sperm test was immediate (but there was a waitinglist for treatment if something was wrong). Check with your GP but if that isn't an option anymore, I recommend one of the private fertility clinics such as SIMS or Clane.

Make sure your swimmers are kept cool- ie no laptop close to the groin, no hot baths etc.

Clane will do it for you really quickly if that is all you are looking for ..
I've heard that zinc is good for the old boys !

I do recommend that you (as a couple) talk to your GP and look at the bigger picture. . Sperm count is rarely the reason behind failure to conceive . . .

A GP will only refer you to a specialised clinic, For instance The Kilkenny clinic will arrange a semen analysis within a couple of days and the result within a week. Its a very nervous experience for a man because it's a lot more difficult to improve things if the result isn't what it should be. But ideally to get the best results before leave it 3 days since having sex or masturbating.

PM me if you need any advice

    Did test:
    sperm count=33.90 mill/ml
    rapid progress motility (a)3.8
slow or sluggish motility (b) 30.7
    non progressive motility (c) 17.4
    immotility (d)48.1
    VOLUME = 2.5 mls

so do u think guys result are not that good? Any advice may be?

Im surprised you had nobody to discuss the results with you at the clinic. Anyway from my limited knwoledge, your volume is within the average range, your count is below average but above the 20million/ml necessary to be considered fertile. Your motility is above the required 50% but your numbers of actively motile sperm are low, they need to be up at around 25%.

Vitamin C can really help with motility, consult with a specialist whou could help to advise you further

Its usually about 140-160 for the first test and will go down in price if you need any more.
