Does anyone have any experience regarding applying for Non Resident Certificate's?

Will there be any issue's with new applications under the new scheme?

And it runs for a year from the date of grant and not just until 31 July.

How long does it take for issuance? Which requirements are needed to be completed? Is your personal attendance required for an interview?

I have been thinking of some hunting on my next trip to IRL.

    thanks

Think it says six weeks but the application form is on the Garda website and the guidelines give further information.

It's very unlikely anyone has had issues yet seeing as the new scheme is only on the road since 1st August.

The same laws apply to non-residents as do to residents. Whether this extends to the 'pistol ban' remains to be seen.

Apostrophes are used in the possessive not in the plural, as in: the Certificate's expiry date or lots of certificates. /pedantic ;)
