I don't have all night :pac: I've got to go sleep. No more replies from me until tomorrow.

    lol, why not?

such a cop out by religious people.
"THE CHANCES OF THIS HAPPENING BY CHANCE ARE SO SMALL IT MUST BE GOD THAT DID IT"
No, the chances of existence randomly "just occurring" is equal to the chances of a supernatural being creating the world from nothing mathematically since we do not know how for sure.

That's a quote from one of my favourite films. It wasn't meant to be insulting at all.. It's just a great movie scene.
I didn't take any personal insult to my self, but ok.

In any case, good night people, don't get too lonely now.

Well give us as reason as to why it should have?

    Btw,
I'm not ruling that out, just the Christian version as it's well, too puny, for such a grand world.

    Well..you know how it is

Just as I was questioning him on his. He doesn't have the one way street on this.
so you'll just ask questions back instead of tackling the ones put to you??
I was referring to your comment about priests.
fair enough, so Joe is unaccountable so must be right then?

No it's not, and do you know why? Because there are no figures for either, but using probability, you have more factors in scenario one than you do in scenario two. With scenario two you have nothing to work off.

How do you know anything about God?

As they say no proof would ever be enough for the non-believer.

If some-one told you they saw it you wouldn't believe it.
If a crowd of people told you they saw it you wouldn't believe it.
If you saw it yourself you would say you were hallucinating or it's an optical illusion.

Proof will never convert a non believer.
I was an atheist for a long time and I wouldn't have believed any of it either. People used to tell me stories of getting personal apparitions and I'd think 'what a load of rubbish!' But I slowly started to change, when I felt certain things. It's when I started to feel things and connect with my spirituality that it all began to make sense to me.

We're all different but we're all on a learning curve.

How's about an oul photee or a bit of oul video reel there me good man.
Here's a link to a tutorial incase you forget how to upload the oul photees.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVyBxbhgtm4

I think this kind of proof could convert a non believer.

"Then I saw her face, doo doo doo doo, Now I'm a believer!"

This "stuff" has been around for more than 2000 years, with its foundations going back a few thousand before that. It wasn't some fad in the middle ages.
    @SV
Man, Had you even ever visited the middle east you would know not every single person has dark skin or dark coloured eyes. There are exceptions but thats not the case. Surely the mother of God can appear in the form that people recognise her in that is if she does indeed look alot different than the paintings.

Like use a bit of sense before posting else it just sounds incredibly ignorant.

For anyone who has been following this thread from the beginning, I think we can have a nod and a smile here. We deserve it.

Have to admit, I enjoyed following what was happening in Knock the last while.....much the same as I enjoyed the "Most Haunted" Halloween special.
    Great entertainment indeed :)

The Knock shrine in Co Mayo was apparently left in an unholy mess at the weekend after thousands of people gathered there for a predicted apparition of the Virgin Mary.

Manager Pat Levelle says the basilica was left 'in a terrible state' after the event, which attracted up to 10,000 people.

He is to discuss safety and organisation issues at the Basilica with the Bishop of Tuam before the next predicted event, on December 5

So... Kinda similar to the stories run after the Ballinasloe horse fair then?

You won't say that if you walk into court and see that the judge is cross eyed with blinking, watery eyes.
