negitive ping (but not amd??)

I've looked it up and apparently with amd duel core the cores become slightly out of sync and you get negative values. I've got intel though. duel core. any ideas? I WAS running some pretty intensive pinging at the time. Was scaning 2 levels of ip addresses (x.x.*.*) with some pretty intensive thread count and small time…

It didn't do it constantly but the time got lower and lower then minus numbers.
