Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Driving a 2003 Corsa with 60k on it. Owned from new with no trouble. Noticed lately the engine thermometer was up at 100+ after driving for about 15 mins. Got garage to take a look and they noticed the water reservior was empty. Had a look at it and said it could be the water pump, now they dont seem convinced and are going further back into the engine. The guy could have spoken about the head gasket and a new engine if its gone. Just wondering if this all adds up.

Also what kind of cost would you be looking at if he is right?

    Cheers
    Whitey.

If your water pump is gone, it'll send water around your engine, in turn fxcking up your head gasket, in turn fxcking up your engine :D

You can replace the head gasket without having to do the engine but it mightn't be worth it. Whats the normal temp for the car ?
