Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I may be making this train trip regularly in the mornings. It will either be Kilcock to Broombridge or Maynooth to Broombridge.

Anyone do this journey & if so, are the trains on time? crammed? mad queues for tickets in the morning?

you'll have to mention what time you'd be planning on getting to broombridge, passenger numbers can vary substantially depending on the service.
also, few enough trains from kilcock stop in broombridge, another point to remember is that if you board in maynooth you'll be within the dublin short hop zone which if you're going to use the monthly/annual tickets whether through www.taxsaver.ie or not will be much cheaper than a point to point from kilcock.

It would be the train that gets into Broombridge for 8.49 am. Any ideas what train is like at that time?

I would only be doing this one way, 4 days a week. Do you think there would be much point in getting those monthly tickets?

that train starts in maynooth so you'd definitely get a seat, not sure how full the train would get but you'd want to get out of your seat just after ashtown as not many people get off at broombridge and if it's full you'd want to be in a position to get to the door quickly.

if you're only going one way i wouldn't think those tickets would be worth it, think it's €2.30 single
