RTE player on Ubuntu

    Anyone know how to get the RTE player to work on Ubuntu? I have some flash working but not the player. Firefox, Jaunty, AMD64.

    Works fine for me using hardy 64 bit with firefox.

    What error are you getting and are you using the latest version of flash?

    Works perfect for me on 8.10. Have you installed the restricted-extras?

    sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

    just checked in on the laptop too which has Qimo installed - it's Ubuntu 8.10 too but I don't know if the restricted extras are installed as part of the default distro.

    [edit]ah - just noticed you've the 64-bit installed and you said 'some flash'. Flash isn't officially supported on the 64-bit versions. There's a script here that will install it for you properly.
