    Worst posts ever would either be the post which was pics of tubgirl or that donkey porn spamer who hit the site.

    Yup that was before we had smods and there was only 5 admins who could site ban and delete threads across the site and there was no report posts function.

    Thankfully no we have more admins and cat mod and the report post function if that happens it gets clean up a lot quicker, mind you these day spam bots are trying to push you to by tablets rather then porn.

    i remember seen one early one morning, they keep posting in all different forums until someone finally bans them.

    i dont remember what he was selling but it was a copy and paste job anyway.

    Admins usually nuke them pretty sharpish sicne there are admins in pretty much every timezone so there is usually one online regardless of what time it is. If it's something really naughty (porn or the likes) and the spammer is going nuts and dropping crap all over the site then regular mods can temporarily siteban them via infractions (9 infractions within a week automatically triggers an immediate temporary siteban) and then an admin will siteban them properly later and delete their posts.

    One thing none of the whingers around here seem to comment on is how good the system is for keeping the place free of spam, funny that

    i agree, that was the only time i have ever seen any kind of spam or anything on this site. never see any of it and it is good.

    how did you know about the 9 infractions = temp site ban ? :confused:

    I know about it from being a mod here a while ago and it being part of the gig, but as far as I know tis in the boards FAQ and has been part of the infraction system since it was brought in

    oh cool, i knew fractions ment something bad alright but i never thought they would result in temp site ban. thats cool :)
