Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You can usually do a fetac course this time of year, though you might be a bit late. I did one last year in my local community college as part of their adult education programme of courses. It was fetac level 5 and was advertised in the local paper.

have you checked if your local camera club does any?

The Dublin Camera Club runs beginners course over a period of weeks.

You can also do commercial courses too - the likes of the institute of photography runs courses at various levels.

Apologies for the blatant thread hijacking, but I wasn't sure my query warranted it's own thread...

Anyway, has anyone any experience of the 10 week evening course "Digital Image Photography - Beginners" run in Killester College? I'm thinking of starting this in January.

Oh I didnt know Celbridge camera club did courses?
Im doing a 10 week adult education course at the moment...but being the youngest person in the class and one of the quicker ones on a pc, I am finding the pace of the class too slow and was thinking maybe a fetac course would be more useful.
I have found a distance learning fetac level 5 class advertised on nightclasses.ie which is over a 6 month period - they were also doing a special offer of pay for one course and get another free...so was thinking of getting back in to web design and tie both new hobbies into one?

Anyway, anyone recommend or have any feedback on courses of this type?
