Where's good for Sunday lunch near Glendalough?

    Plan on doing a bit of walking tomorrow near Glendalough. Where is good for sunday lunch nearby?

    Wicklow Heather without a doubt. You may need to book though as it gets quite busy on a Sunday. It's on the way up to Glendalough just past Laragh.

    The Glendalough Hotel itself has a nice restaurant. I had lunches and dinners there and have never once been disappointed. :)

    yeah its two days late but carters is a nice a spot alright. the hotel ain't bad either but you're not going to write home about it either.

    + 1 and the Glenmalure Inn further on the road also I`ve found dose a nice bit of grub and loads of it.
