Has Eircom got an i Plate eg BT UK -improve speeds?

Would like to get better speeds and read recently that BT UK introduced a gadget called the i Plate that when fitted to the BT socket increased speeds by 1.5mb. Am I in dreamland wondwering if Eircom has got the same gadget? GB---

No they haven't. The BT gadget is only to rectify a problem with the master sockets that BT installed iirc. No such problem with the Eircom ones so no need for them. Open to correction though.
