Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is that a back support? Cause leaning back is a big no no when i'm riding, ain't the idea of riding a bike to learn forward, keep some weight on the ole front wheel?

my guess is that the plastic is an aftermarket job for a courier - something like that is used in the UK.

    It could be anything underneath.

    I'm going with a Kawasaki 500 twin - Er5 or similar.

But if you do a image search that particular model doesn't look anything like the one above, so it must have been modified that way...maybe the rider needs back support??

Looks like it is probably a feet forward arrangement. There were a number of these types of bikes made in the late 70's to mid 80's, a Quasar being the one I remember most. One of the main designers/builders was a guy named Tony Foale. Superbike magazine used to be a big supporter of him/them back in the day. Most of his designs used a push pull vertical handlebar rather than a more normal horizontal type handlebar that this one appears to have.
