Orton gets his first pick. Stupid play calling let the clock run out.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

Orton just wanted to see what it was like to throw to Randy Moss. :D

Defensive interception. Is there anything he cant do! :D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,658 ✭✭✭✭Peyton Manning

I could not be more impressed with Orton and his OL tonight. Really proving a lot of doubters wrong, myself included. Moreno having a decent game too, fumble aside. Has quite a burst of speed to him.

Patriots have no answer to the wild horses. They're 6/6 so far if Im not mistaken...

The AFC south is struggling, a win for the Colts tonight, and with the Rams up next, we'd really have to f**k up to miss the playoffs.

Dre Bly get the INT at his 20 yard line(?), runs about 10 yards and put his hand up to his ear to showboat and he had not even reached the 50. Roddy White tackles him from behind and he fumbles, Atlanta recover.

And the next player Singletary makes cry....Dre Bly.

and with the rest of our schedule as well. not exactly the most difficult apart from new england and baltimore. and even at that they're not the worst good teams to be up against

What kind of self-absorbed prick celebrates before he's anywhere near the end-zone, all the while his team is down 25 points in the second half?

Everyone bar Willis and Spikes has quit which is just shameful.

A fully fit Hasselbeck is ripping the Jax Jags apart tonight. 4 tds so far. Some of you might want to rethink your quarterback rankings this week;)

The Broncos D are f88king idiots. Two penalties on PUNTS

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,287 ✭✭✭davyjose

You want to see cheating that sidejudge threw that flag before merriweather lifted his arms and got lucky the fact merriweather actually taunted. Fooking joke right there.

    V harsh call on Merriweather

he threw for pass interference which it couldnt be due to the tip but there was a clear taunt after the flag was thrown

orton looking excellent again today not bad for a qb that isnt in the top 15 of the leagues starters aparantly ;)

Harsh doesnt explain it. That ref was throwing that flag for interfence/hit out of bounds. He got fooking lucky Merriweather taunted.

what did you want him to do pick the flag up and throw it again ?

The only thing is an offical only has 1 flag so if he sees two fouls he can only throw 1 flag.

But taunting, he shouted for less than one second in the direction of Royal...what he could have said in one second to draw the flag is beyond me

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,879 ✭✭✭D3PO

it wasnt what he said it was for pointing his finger at him i would think

You cant call two fouls either way. Once a flag is thrown its the call you make first that counts. Its up to another Ref or the backhudge to call the second one if he sees it.

In this case he pulled the flag out unsure about the interference and it was in the air for interference and then he got away with it because of Merriweather waving his arm which in fairness was hardly taunting unless he said something stupid.

recovered by denver why would you review ?

Because he wasnt touched by a pat meaning he wasnt downed meaning the gorund can cause a fumble. And it was recovered by the pats.

i didnt know that are you sure sounds kind of strange that you cant call a second foul if you see one

Either way the officals called it wrong...again

Im sure you cant but the commentary im listening to said the taunting shouldnt have factored if it was taunting to begin with.

im listening to the cbs comms and they agreed it was a taunt

I'm gutted and distraught after that. I think we got some unfair penalties called against us there and some will say that was balancing out last week but I don't think we got anything we didn't deserve last week.

The 3rd down there where we almost intercepted in the end zone look like offensive pass interference to me too. That would have put them out of field goal range.

One think that has to be said though, our offense stunk in the second half. I'm not happy with the offensive play calling, thats a huge problem at the moment.

Need the Dolphins to play big and win tomorrow night now.

Typical Colts fan, delighted to see New England lose. Like it doesn't matter one bit to your team, we are in different divisions.

I couldn't care less if the Colts win or lose. Everytime I watch them play I'm just looking for a good game of football.

Could you point out where exactly I said i was happy the Pats lost? All i said was it was a great game (don't think I'm wrong there), and that I think McDaniel is turning his critics (in particular me).

Typical Pats fan ... always thinking everybody is against them ;)
