Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd say it's more likely because Vince has never really been all that keen on Christian, due to his size...

And his look. He is famously quoted as saying Christian has the worse headshot in Wrestling. Citing he looks too normal.

Nah, I don't like the idea of losing one of the singles titles. Fair enough with the tag teams that they do nothing with, but not the singles.

I dunno, I think it might be no harm. It's a bit, what's the right word, insulting to the fans perhaps?

If Christian had stayed in 05 he might have reached the same status as Edge. My feeling is that Vince is never going to invest in a guy who's already flown the nest once. If feel there's a real camp friendly Jim Jones type atmosphere in WWE.

True , but look what happened with Hardy when he came back to the WWE few years ago

I think with some guys, he either sees the money or he doesn't. Christian lost out to Edge I think.

Vince has his favorites and then there are those guys that Vince doesn't really give enough credit too. Edge was always a favorite of his, while Christian didn't really seem to be much of an interest to Vince. from the minute he stepped into WWE, the sun always shined on Edge. Christian was always seen as the lesser of the two. I mean Edge won King of the Ring, and was pushed pretty well before his neck injury. While Christian was just used primarily as a mid-carder and never really got very much attention, not until 2005 when Christian had his feud with Cena but even then he didn't get very far.

I'd say the only reason he was even given the World Heavyweight Championship, was as a thank you to Edge and not really because WWE wanted Christian to be champion.

I was a little bit out of touch with the programming at the time, but from what I can gather, did Christian not just have the belt because there was no one else really around at the time to hold it? I wouldn't really be able to see him as WWF champion in the future, obviously, I'd love to see it but I just think it would've happened by now if it was going to ever. I think Christian falls into the same bracket as the likes of Rey Mysterio and Big Show (disagree with me on that all you want), as someone who is taken for granted by the company but never rewarded with the highest title for all the work they do.

Regardless of whether or not Christian is a genuine main eventer, they had the potential for a great few months with him as a hard working underdog veteran with the title after Edge had to retire and decided to piss it away immediately under some deluded notion that Orton having the belt with no build whatsoever would somehow boost ratings and buys hugely. Mark Henry could have gotten the title by absolutely demolishing him too at the end.

I am always more likely to tune into the shows when someone is the champion who I have never seen in the position before (when I am not watching regularly, which I didn't do for quite a number of years). Randy Orton with the World Heavyweight Championship, I'm thinking, seen that before. Christian could do good business with CM Punk, in a parallel universe.

jeff was a proven money maker, Christian is the guy you put in the ring with the draw. No shame in that really, not everyone can move the needle.

I thought Christian delivered in ring as a champion in that feud with Orton though and deserved another top line chance especially as Smackdown is so devoid of believeable top line talent. Apart from that injury last year he could be in a higher spot imo

Vince keeps saying it is "WWF" and there is some weird logo in the bottom left.

Would you say the logo will unblured as well on the attitude era DVD coming out or is the agreement only for video packages and things on the website etc?

I feel the same way. That Orton feud was class. He is a JTTS it appears these days and I have no idea why. His best work is as a heel, so I don't know why he came back as a face (sort of).

He should be chasing Sheamus for the World title in my opinion. He would inject a personality into the feud ADR was incapable of.

WWE and WWF came to an agreement that the logo doesn't have to be blurred out anymore and they can use it on "archived materials only". So they can use the WWF logo on what they have already but not allowed make any new video packages/t-shirts etc new with the logo on it.

Was surprised to see Crimson there. Didn't even realise he was gone from TNA, or is he?
Did have to laugh at the young boys looking at Shelly Martinez, who I notice is still using the LAX sign.

Interesting article. It's mad that they do all that work for only $20

Interesting how they don't mention Ric's name but refer to him as "one of the greatest superstars"

Matt looks in better shape than I remember from his last run in WWE.

Funkadactyl Cameron went through the rite of passage nearly every FCW star goes through:

She lied to the cop by saying she was a Sale's Associate instead of a Wrestler and just did a drink driving commercial with Big Show.

Bulldog might well have been the homecoming hero but I wonder how many of the 80,000 were kids expecting to see Hogan.

Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel want to be called International Airstrike but are soliciting suggestions:

America will probably go to war next week and it will become inappropriate but I like it.

    Hope they wear pilot jumpsuits:
