Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There was nothing on the major sites. It was just a rumour I guess.

It's a shame what happened to Alex Riley. He was pretty good on the mic, and had good charisma too. Could have been a main event star. From what I remember though, he was still pretty green in the ring but it's not as if WWE really cares that much about wrestling.

Although I don't think Riley comes close to Mr Kennedy/Anderson, I feel his situation is the same though. A guy who shot himself in the foot more then once, and ended up being a tragic tale of a very talented man who had a bright future in WWE, but never was.

He's still there (at least for the time being), seems like it was just a rumour.

Even so, his future so far looks bleak. There a new guy coming in who he'll have to compete with if he ever does come back to the main roster like Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Ryback. You've also got Bray Wyatt who I feel is ready to be brought up to the main roster. Apart from that, you've guys who have been on the roster who are still waiting for a chance like Damian Sandow, Cody Rhodes and Antonio Cesaro. But who knows really.

    Random pieces of news...
-WWE officials are back on the idea of having Dolph Ziggler, AJ Lee and Big E Langston all hold singles titles at the same time.

At RAW, there was talk that the person who sent the mystery gift to WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn was going to end up being Langston. There's also talk at RAW that Langston will be going after United States Champion Kofi Kingston

WWE has applied to register the trademarks for "Crush Couture", all for different kinds of merchandise. The trademarks do not make it clear whether it's for a new character or if they are opening a new product line.

WWE also applied to register for "CC", which is most likely related to "Crush Couture", for merchandise use as well as a logo featuring two C's reversed away from each other.

WWE is advertising C.M. Punk for the May 27 edition of WWE Raw in Calgary, Alberta. Punk is listed on the WWE live events page for the Calgary event and the following week's Raw in Hartford, Connecticut.

Maybe have dolph and him win the tag titles?

Can't see that happening. The much more likely scenario is Big E US Champ Dolph has a run as WHC while feuding with Del Rio and Swagger and possibly D.Bryan if he and Kane drop the tag titles to The Shield. Also Aj taking the Diva's title is good news hooefully she’ll be doing twice as many segments as now.

That was more down to Miz being well over as a heel.

He still gets decent reactions on Superstars and the like.

I'd nearly stick A-Ry with McGillicutty and DiBiase. Have them as the fortunate sons and have him as their asshole jock associate. I know they're all joberific right now but it's better than nothing. Mean Street Posse 2.0 ftw

I thought Superstars had crowd sounds dubbed in?

Really?I always thought it sounded much more realistic/normal then Smackdown.

Anything they prerecord usually has edited crowd sounds.

Iconic UFC fighter Chael Sonnen has told TMZ that he wants to buy World Wrestling Entertainment from the McMahon family, following his retirement from mixed martial arts.

According to the article, members of Sonnen's camp claim that he has been meeting with "bigwigs" and investors on future plans to purchase the massive company. However, WWE reps have responded by informing Chael that the company is not for sale; they do encourage him to buy WWE stock and become a "valued shareholder".

While the idea may sound ridiculous, Sonnen is friends with WWE Superstar CM Punk, and is well known within the fighting world as one of the best "trash talkers" in the business. After his most recent loss to Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones at UFC 159, there has been much talk about a potential retirement for the 36-year-old fighter. However, in an interview with UFC Tonight, Chael admitted he had no plans to leave fighting any time soon, at least not until he fought Wanderlei Silva.

He wants to outright buy a company that could cost billions? Yeah, good luck with that.

It's just Chael trolling as always. Probably the best troll in sport. But he's quite a likeable guy so most people put up with it.

now we know why WWE had been putting alot of old WCW stuff on their Youtube channel recently, to rope people in before starting to charge for it.

I always thought the 'E missed a trick not running a service similar to iTunes, where you can pay for individual matches. Take No Way Out '06: Do you want to splash out €8 on the dvd for a one-match show, or €1.99 for 'Taker/Angle?

Man, I must watch that match again soon. Have the DVD upstairs and easily one of my favorite of all times...
