I don't think there will be, it would take the gloss of the MITB PPV.

Although I suspect they will have to find some sort of gimmick match which will get a lot of guys onto the WM card in the same match.

Personally, I would prefer to have a MITB match at WM, and then a KOTR PPV in June.

Personally i think there should be. There are alot of 1 on 1 matches, and while they could each be great - Mania is supposed to be special. Not sure if we are getting anything special this year.

Former WWE star Andrew 'Test' Martin's 2 year anniversary today.

He would have been only 35 on the 17th of March.

    R.I.P.

After saying that a behind the scenes player in TNA Wrestling was defecting for World Wrestling Entertainment, which was later confirmed as Jimmy Hart, The Honky Tonk Man is now claiming that Hulk Hogan is on his way out of the organization. He wrote the following on his Facebook account:

"HTM has been told Hogan will bolt to WWE if asked. Sources within TNA have said Hogan will leave (Eric Bischoff) behind like a rat. Hogan is on his way out of TNA. Dixie has had to advance Flair money to pay his debts. Strange things are happening at TNA! Hogan's TNA contract is results and incentive based. Either party can walk anytime. HTM said it first Hogan is on the way out."

Regarding Jimmy Hart, he is not expected to be in Jerry Lawler's corner for his match against Michael Cole at WrestleMania XXVII. Hogan backed off his prior claim, saying on Twitter that it was "just a guess" and that he hadn't talked to Hart in over a month.

The ending to TNA Victory Road has set the rumour mill going big time...
Although there are many reports online at this moment regarding why the main event at Victory Road went only one minute, twenty eight seconds, the fact is that no one really knows yet what happened in the ring.

Here's what we have gathered, at this hour, from a variety of sources.

There was general concern throughout the day on the condition of Jeff Hardy. The finish of the match was never discussed with agents, announcers, or the production truck as a one minute, twenty eight second match. Sting's physical limitations based on age and/or injury were not a factor.

There are two stories floating around right now. One is that the Bischoff announcement was designed to kill time, and Bischoff was sent down with what is called "an audible" (last minute change) to switch the finish. The other is that Sting, who was noticeably angry in the dressing room before the match (supposedly based on what he felt was Hardy's condition), "hooked the finish" and just ended the match after the first move, with referee Brian Hebner either counting three or being told from the back to get out of the match by counting three.

Either way, it will be very interesting how TNA President Dixie Carter handles this latest explosive situation in her dressing room.

We are working on several other stories arising out of this controversy. Keep checking back with WrestleZone tonight for much more.
There are a million rumors flying around tonight about Jeff Hardy and his condition at the TNA Victory Road pay per view. We can report with certainty that TNA management was concerned about Jeff's condition this evening, and that was the reason the main event went one minute, twenty eight seconds. We can also report Sting was said to be furious over the situation, and apparently he wasn't the only one.

We can squash the rumor that Jeff Hardy was arrested after the show. We have several reports that Jeff left the arena, but not in police custody.

Keep it locked to WZ as there will be more to come on this breaking story.
WrestleZone has spoken with several key insiders and several wrestlers in TNA, and the consensus opinion is that something has to be done regarding tonight's Victory Road pay per view debacle.

"This is the type of controversy that kills a promotion," one very concerned wrestler told us tonight, "what happens when Spike TV executives Doug Herzog, Kevin Kay and Brian Diamond watch this, and try to justify this to sponsors and advertisers? It's embarrassing, and it's terrible for the company to go off the air with the fans chanting BULL**** when the company knew they had a major problem to deal with."

"Why wasn't he replaced?" asked another wrestler, "why couldn't we have just handled it professionally, instead of risking everyone's well being, including Sting's and the fans, by putting someone who was not fit to wrestle out in the ring?" Even a key insider who is usually a Hardy defender told us "Jeff should not have been cleared to wrestle in that main event tonight."

While no one would pinpoint exactly what Hardy's problem was, it is clear TNA President Dixie Carter has a dressing room filled with concerned and angry talent at the moment. While Ric Flair's presence is "amusing" (as one wrestler put it), the precedent is being set for wrestlers to act in any way they want, and there is a sense of anarchy in the TNA dressing room right now.

"Bischoff doesn't have any authority. The agents don't lay down the law," one very prominent TNA wrestler told us, "no one learned from WCW what happens when the inmates take over the asylum!"

WWE gets angry when refered to as a wrestling company....
A publicist for World Wrestling Entertainment demanded last week that a television industry news website not refer to them as a wrestling company.

The website in question, TVWeek.com, ran a story on Drew Carey's induction into the WWE Hall of Fame last week with the headline " Drew Carey Inducted Into Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame." Huh? Drew Carey??!!? The headline drew the ire of WWE publicist Kellie Baldyga, who sent a stern e-mail to the author demanding that the headline be ' corrected' .

Baldyga wrote in her email, " We are no longer a wrestling company but rather a global entertainment company with a movie studio, international licensing deals, publisher of three magazines, consumer good distributor and more." During a subsequent phone conversation, the publicist stated, " No, we don't do wrestling events. They're entertainments. And we don't call them wrestlers. They' re superstars and divas."

Rather than change the headline, the article was removed from the website altogether. Baldyga sent a follow-up e-mail, reading, " I know the perception is that we are a wrestling company but we are actually much more than that: we are a global media company which is how our Chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon, positions us."

    A wrestling company?!!
    The cheek of them!

They may as well have said they were a terrorist organisation!!

This leads nicely up to the report that WWE have changed their company logo.

The preliminary estimates for 'WWE Elimination Chamber' is around 200,000 buys, way down from last year when it did about 285,000.

Might just be a one-off name because the show is in Washington D.C.

WWE has removed Sin Cara from the RAW live event in Winnipeg on May 27th where he was scheduled to team with Evan Bourne to take on Nexus.

For the same show, the United States Title match is now Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan vs. John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler with Gail Kim. This could be an error or it could be a sign that Kim is turning on Bryan.

TMZ.com is reporting that TNA star Kurt Angle was arrested this morning in North Dakota on DUI charges.

According to the report, Angle (who is in the middle of a loop of TNA house shows) was arrested after police found him sitting in his car "in the median separating lanes" in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Angle failed a field sobriety test that was given to him after authorities allegedly smelled alcohol on his breath. Angle was arrested and charged with being in control of a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Since he wasn't seen driving the car by police, they could not charge him with a DUI.

The report noted that Angle claimed he was sitting in the road due to hitting an icy patch on the road while driving.
